The region of 100 Hourmathies at Rhodes, which was proclaimed by the Management of Technical Constructions and Infrastructures of Rhodes Municipality was elaborated in order to satisfy the functional and aesthetic needs. Taking into account the long-standing history and the architectural singularities of the island, the particular characteristics of the region of the project, the team set an objective of creating an environmental and functionally sustainable square. The sandhills of the beach, the palm trees and the intense principles of eastern architecture, in addition to the eclectic mannerism of the fascistic Italy, led the team to use the curves. These curves replace the angles at the phorms and they also appear at the "z" axis creating through height differences hills, passageways and plateaus.

The New Cyprus Museum should be promoting the rich cultural heritage of Cyprus and the quality of its collections in the best possible way. At the same time, it should be born in mind that research on the history of Cyprus is ongoing, technology is developing and the Museum continuously is receiving new material from excavations.In addition, its collections are a significant part of archaeological research of the Eastern Mediterranean and provide a perennial source for educational programmes and exciting visitor experience.

This proposal aims in creating a destination of experiences born through the human interaction with his surrounding environments, as it is formed by nature and man through the ages. The location and identity of the area are the features that initially set the designing rules, as the respect in the morphological and structural variety that compose the site, gives references and opportunities for creating a unique experience to the visitor. Roccamandolfi's castle is a cell of a unique summation in South Italy (close to Isernia Province) The ruins of the medieval castle, historical and identificational tokens of the site, framed uniquely by the natural environment and connect as entity with the homonymous habituated town that continues feeding with life the ancient remnants.
